For American Express transactions, a premium of 0.20% is added.

Rates are priced as the amount over interchange and card brand fees. This style of pricing, usually referred to as interchange plus pricing, is the most transparent (and usually lowest) method of pricing. Rates are available for most merchant accounts, but exclusions apply based on your MCC, including all high-risk accounts.
